For the last few years AmateurProducts.com has assisted with the 33 mile Chilly Hilly Bike Ride (on Bainbridge Island, WA.  We use Automatic Position Reporting System (APRS) to support situational awareness.  APRS allows us to assist the riders, drive them back to the ferry, provide basic first aid, and direct traffic.
